Given the power to make changes in Nigeria: How can I improve the economy This topic has kept me thinking and pondering on how Nigeria had been since the past 20 years of my life. To some people, there is no change that can affect Nigeria than the change of our mindset. To others, power should be given to only those who merit it and not to corrupt politicians and money launderers. I am a Nigerian and the economy has also affected me. That is the first idea a good leader must have. It has affected me in many ways; First and foremost, the cost of food have been on the increase since the Abacha’s regime, where a cup of rice used to be N10.00k but as of 2009 – 2017, it is has gotten to N120.00k.We also have yam, garri, peak milk, palm oil etc. Their increase which has no corresponding increase in income of consumer has affected me and all Nigeria citizens. That means if there is no transformation, there is no change. If there is no improvement, change has not taken place. I have been given the power to make changes to our present predicament in Nigeria’s economy. My power might not be that of the President of Nigeria, I never said it is impossible but If I am the Deputy Governor of my state, Imo state. I know the history of corrupt leaders who
