In summary, the experience matters or divinity in the present things, things that have happened and things that will happen. The people in the book text are seen to be ignorant of the power they are fighting therefore not taking heed or instrucions to the advice given to them thereby losing what they fought for. In the texts, the people of the coomunity especially the elders are seen to have fought for their god in the quest to stop the people from worshipping the God introduced by the christians. Also in Achebe's ' dead men's path' we see the struggle between th headmaster and the chief priest of the commmunity. the headmaster haven been told of the big rowsome time ago when they attempted to close it,he was still bent on closing the path. in this text we can see the struggle between the headmaster and the priest of Ani village ,that is humanity trying to avenge divinity which at the end was reversed ,because humanity cannot avenge diviniy.

“A NAIRA TODAY IS WORTH MORE THAN A NAIRA RECEIVED TOMORROW AND A SAFE NAIRA IS BETTER THAN A RISKY NAIRA” It is better to buy an asset that is worth more than its cost. Before investing, especially in an asset, it is important to determine the value; how much the asset is worth. How then can we know the value of an asset?

“Paul’s Account of the Easter Event and Its Apologetic Relevance for the Church in Africa”

“Paul’s Account of the Easter Event and Its Apologetic Relevance for the Church in Africa”

If the whole gamut of salvation history were to be symbolised as a tripod consisting of the incarnation, the cross and the resurrection, there is no doubt that the resurrection of Jesus has received serious attention in theological circles more than the other two because of its centrality to the Christian faith. The church in Africa, in seeking to give objective relevance to her gospel, and confronted with the pleroma of mythologies inherent in the African Traditional Religion, is put in an apologetic position as to the authenticity of the resurrection of Jesus.

Thus the need for a constant study of the issues involved in the story of the resurrection, particularly as regards the weight of evidence in its support. It is from this standpoint that this work shall examine Paul’s account of the resurrection found in I Corinthians 15:3—8.
