Abstract

IMPORTANT OF BOOKS READING

“books are the carriers of civilization. Without books, history is silent, literature dumb, science crippled, thought and speculation at a stand still. Without books, the development of civilization would be impossible. They are engines of change (as the great poet said), they are companions, teachers, magicians, bankers of the treasures of the mind. Books are humanity in print-Babara W. Tuchman. This simply shows us how important books are to humanity, but its quite unfortunate because the average black man would rather sleep, gist and watch movie till enternity than read, little wonder they said “if you want to hide something from a blackman, put It down on writing” why are you weak in reading books? Cant you see how It reflect in your ignorance and how under exposed you are? You think you are too busy for that now? It might interest you to know that, this stage of your life is the most free period you can have, as you climb the ladder of tomorrow(family, career, ministry, disciples, work) , there wont be time, why not try and read now? If you can invest 30 minutes of every 24 hours as time for books. It will be wonderful. And most importantly, books are very cheap, dont always borrow, try and buy knowledge before ignorance comes freely to you. I believe there are no too intelligent and wise people just people who put extra effort to seek knowledge by reading, making researches and unvailing their ignorance. START READING TODAY.
