Just as the name implies, The Duchess of Malfi being a Jacobean revenge tragedy was full of tragic dialogues, actions and events which had a tragic and disastrous end where everything moved from bad to worse. The duchess was killed as well as those who were involved in her case.However, different is the case in the rover, arestoration comedy play where the prostitute, Bianca returns to her trade and the virgins, Hellena and Florinda becomes married to whom they desired.
